Who is PI® Power Compact?

The PI® Power Compact is a household water treatment system, developed according to the original PI technology by Dr. sc. Shinji Makino (IBE Japan). The goal is to naturally purify tap water and restore it to its original, vital form – for healthy drinking water directly from the tap – guaranteed according to the PI water standard. The founding history behind PI® technology.

Helmut Vogl founded his company in 1999, bringing Pi® Technology to Europe. Inspired by his family's long tradition in leather manufacturing, where water played a key role, he was searching for the "production" of natural water. He discovered the patented PI® Technology from IBE in Japan, which he considered the ideal complement to natural mountain spring water. Vogl saw Lauretana as the gold standard for water quality and aimed to replicate its natural purification process with PI® Technology.

How PI® Power Compact works

  1. Filtering (Phase 1): Sediment/carbon filter plus high-performance FC membrane remove up to 99% of impurities. Performance values: up to 2.5 L Pi water/min with <55% wastewater.
  2. Structuring (Phase 2): The water flows through the PI®-Cell Vitalizer with rotating ceramic balls, neutralizing harmful "energy fields."
  3. Remineralizing (Phase 3): Minerals such as calcium are reintroduced by IMS®-PI® ceramic, and the pH value is gently raised.
  4. Energizing (Phase 4): YMS® and BCS® ceramics as well as bio-magnetic components vitalize the water at a cellular level.

What products are available from Pi-Power-Compact?

On mein-wasserfilter.com you will find the PI® Power Compact Series in the variants Pi Power Compact 300 and 450. The 450 delivers significantly more PI® water per minute and is ideal for families or professional use.

We also offer original accessories and replacement filters (e.g., anti-glyphosate or descaling cartridges) – for long-term performance and ease of use, as well as the PI-Cell Vitalizer, an optional additional module that mineralizes, energizes, and pH-neutralizes the already filtered water.

The PI-Cell Vitalizer forms the core of PI technology. Inside the Vitalizer, the water is first pre-activated by highly energetic BCS (Bio Control System) PI ceramic balls. The device then sets the water into a spiral upward motion along the housing – a process based on the so-called Schauberger effect. This targeted swirling neutralizes stored pollutants. In the next step, the water flows into the PI cartridge and moves downwards. It first encounters Sango corals and organic calcium, which lightly mineralize the water, thus contributing to a neutral pH value. Finally, the purified, swirled, and mineralized water is additionally vitalized by a combination of highly energetic ceramics and crystals.

The result: living water with optimal cellular availability – soft in taste, highly energetic, and based on decades of Japanese research.

Unlike classic filter systems, the PI® Power Compact combines four effective principles in one device:

It does not require a water tank and delivers pure PI® water in real time on demand – directly from the tap.

Removed are:

The pre-filters (sediment and activated carbon) should be replaced approximately every 6 months or after 9,500 liters – this is quick and easy. The reverse osmosis membrane has a lifespan of 3 to 5 years – depending on water hardness and usage. Replacement sets can be found directly in our shop – suitable for the PI® Power Compact 300 and 450 models.

Yes – the technology has been tested multiple times, e.g., by Hagalis AG, an independent testing laboratory. The test results show, among other things, an extremely low redox value, which indicates high antioxidant properties of PI® water. The filter performance against heavy metals, microorganisms, and chemical residues is also scientifically proven. (See: pi power compact test)

Yes – with us you will find suitable pre-filters for the Pi Power Compact 300 model, membranes, anti-glyphosate filters, lime replacement filters and the PI® Cell Vitalizer as an extension. UV modules for additional germ killing are also available. All components are modularly exchangeable and designed for durability.
