The Pi Power Compact 450 is a powerful direct-flow reverse osmosis system for households, practices, and commercial applications with increased water demand. It filters tap water in real-time – completely without a storage tank. This means no stagnant water, ensuring maximum hygiene and significantly reducing the risk of germ formation.
Compared to the Compact 300, the 450 with three powerful osmosis membranes (150 GPD each) and higher filter performance provides a noticeably larger amount of water per minute – ideal if several people or devices need to be supplied simultaneously. Under an operating pressure of 9.5 bar, even the smallest pollutants are reliably retained. The result is highly pure osmosis water with a retention rate of up to 99%.
The system operates fully automatically: Permanent water quality monitoring (TDS measurement) ensures that the filter performance remains consistently high. Automatic flushing cycles regularly clean the membranes and protect the system from deposits and germs. Filter and membrane changes are displayed in good time via the touch display.
In its basic version, the Pi Power Compact 450 delivers particularly pure, low-mineral osmosis water. Remineralization or vitalization is not integrated but can be added at any time via external solutions or the retrofittable PI-Cell Vitalizer Special if required.
Alternative with UV module
The UV module in your PI Power Compact 450 provides additional safety in the final purification step. A specially developed LED light irradiates the purified water with ultraviolet light, effectively eliminating any remaining germs or bacteria. This form of disinfection works entirely without chemicals and makes the water hygienically perfect.
The UV module was developed primarily for regions where germ contamination in tap water can be higher. In Germany, this is usually very low – however, the UV module offers an additional level of safety for anyone who places particular importance on hygienic purity.
PI technology originates from Japan and aims to transform drinking water into a state that is as cell-friendly and natural as possible. It was developed based on decades of research into water quality, minerals, bioavailability, and the structure of water in living organisms.

We recommend changing the filter system of your Pi Power Compact 450 unit after approximately 9,000 liters or every 6 months. The membranes only need to be changed every 3-4 years. A modern LCD display conveniently shows you the filter change & membrane status.

The PI® Cell-Vitalizer
The core of PI® water treatment is the PI®-Cell Vitalizer – developed by Dr. Shinji Makino and based on the patented BCS®-PI® ceramic system. It forms the three subtle phases that transform purified reverse osmosis water into water with the quality of natural high-spring water. PI®-Technology combines modern science with the principle of returning water to its original, living form.
It is available in two versions:
- PI®-Cell Vitalizer Standard – developed for smaller consumption. Ideal for households; gentle remineralization and complete 4-phase revitalization process.
- PI®-Cell Vitalizer Special – works with an extended ceramic and crystal combination, offers more intensive energization and is specially developed for higher demands, continuous use or professional applications.
Note: For the PI®-Cell Vitalizer, highly pure water is a prerequisite (reverse osmosis with a minimum 95–96% retention value and max. 25 µS conductivity). After coarse pre-filtration (Phase 1) by direct-flow reverse osmosis, the actual premium process begins in the PI®-Cell Vitalizer:
Phase 2 – Vortexing & Activation
The water is swirled upwards in a spiral. This natural movement neutralizes pollutant information and energetically "destresses" the water.
Phase 3 – Gentle Remineralization
Inside, the water encounters Sango corals and organic calcium sources, which mineralize it minimally but precisely. This gives it a pleasantly soft, natural structure.
Phase 4 – Energization & Magnetic Field Harmonization
