UrQuelle RV Water Filter

The UrQuelle RV filter system operates without electricity and uses only the existing line pressure. In contrast to conventional reverse osmosis systems, it deliberately avoids membranes with high wastewater production, pumps, or electronics. Instead, it combines mechanical filtration, ultrafiltration, and natural water refinement in a compact 3-stage system.

The result is hygienically safe, clear-tasting water with high everyday usability – reduced to the essentials, without technical complexity.

The UrQuelle motorhome water filter system filters tap water using a 3-stage deep filter system and improves both water purity and taste – without chemical additives or electrical components.

Among other things, the following are reduced or removed:

• Germs, bacteria & parasites (UF membrane 0.01 µm)
• Microplastics & PFAS
• Medicinal residues
• Heavy metals
• Pesticides & chemicals (incl. glyphosate)
• Organic & inorganic compounds
• Coarse & fine particles

The Urquelle motorhome is not a descaling system, but it can reduce taste-impairing accompanying substances through activated carbon filtration and ultrafiltration. The focus is clearly on pollutant reduction and water quality, not on complete softening.

In a compact, three-stage system, tap water is mechanically filtered, microbiologically secured, and then refined in terms of taste and structure. The result is high-quality, filtered drinking water – consciously reduced, durable, and suitable for everyday use.

1. Activated Carbon Block (Carbonit)

The first filter stage consists of a high-quality activated carbon block from Carbonit. It reduces chlorine, heavy metals, medicinal residues, microplastics, as well as a variety of chemical contaminants and organic compounds. At the same time, it significantly improves the smell and taste of the water.

2. Ultrafiltration Membrane (0.01 µm)

In the second stage, an ultrafiltration membrane ensures the microbiological safety of the water. It reliably filters out germs, bacteria, parasites, and the finest suspended solids, without completely removing valuable minerals.

3. Gemstone & Ceramic Unit

Subsequently, the filtered water passes through a combination of gemstones, minerals, and EM ceramic. This unit supports a natural water structure and ensures a soft, balanced taste.

Optional: UMH Energization

Optionally, the system can be expanded with a permanently installed UMH module. This works purely physically, without electricity or magnets, and generates a stable energy field for additional vitalization and structuring of the water.

The Urquelle filter system is installed at the water connection where you want to draw water – usually in the kitchen of your motorhome, camper van, or boat. For installation, you only need a cold water connection, a power outlet, sufficient space for the filter, and a waste water trap.

You can generally install your Urquelle filter system yourself. However, we recommend professional installation by our installation service. This way, you ensure that everything is optimally connected – and you also receive a guarantee on the installation.

The activated carbon filter should be changed at least every 6 months or after approximately 10,000 liters to ensure consistently high water quality. Filter replacement is straightforward and can be done without tools. Replacement filters are available separately.
