Pump Case Parts Set for the Survival-Coach Water System

The pump case was developed as an extension for the Survival-Coach Compact reverse osmosis system. This can be installed in the pump case, thus providing a portable osmosis system in a case that can be operated both at home with tap water and on the go with water from a canister or bucket. The pump case is a parts set that is easy to assemble at home with detailed instructions.

The pump case is equipped with a diaphragm pump. This pump can pump water from a bucket or canister into the Survival-Coach system as a self-priming pump. However, it can also be used as a booster pump for operating the Survival-Coach system with tap water. This allows the Survival-Coach system to be operated with tap water even if the pressure is below 3 bar, which would not be possible without a pump.

Summary of the most important features of the pump case:

✔ Pump that can both self-prime from a bucket or canister and be used as a booster pump with tap water.

✔ Higher filtration speed, as the Survival-Coach system can be operated at an optimal operating pressure in the range of 5 to 6 bar. This allows 1 liter of pure osmosis water to be filtered in 2.5 – 3 minutes. 

✔ Stepless adjustment of the operating pressure. 

✔ Manometer for displaying the operating pressure.

✔ Manual switch on the case for switching the pump in self-priming operation from a bucket or canister.

✔ Automatic switch for switching the pump when operating with tap water. The pump switches on automatically as soon as the tap water supply to the Survival-Coach system is opened in the kitchen.

✔ Additional space in the case for 2 pre-filter sets and some connection adapters.

✔ With the included power supply unit, the Survival-Coach system can be operated with 230 V mains power in the kitchen.

✔ With a power station (see Riverpro) and the included power supply unit, the Survival-Coach system can also be operated on the go without a hand pump.

✔ For mobile operation with 12 V DC voltage (e.g. from a vehicle via cigarette lighter plug or directly from a car battery), a small adapter from 12 V to 24 V can be used. (Not included in the scope of delivery of the Survival-Coach system)

✔ Mobile operation with 24 V DC voltage, e.g. from a vehicle (some trucks or motorhomes have this), is directly possible. A suitable connection cable would have to be made or purchased. (Not included in the scope of delivery)
