Description  

The Carbonit Shower Filter 245UF02 is a compact legionella and bacteria filter for the shower. It is installed directly between the shower faucet and the shower hose and ensures reliable filtration of the shower water.

The integrated hollow fiber membrane filter reduces legionella, germs, and other microorganisms in the water.

The robust housing made of chrome-plated copper ensures durable and high-quality workmanship. Despite its compact design, the filter offers reliable performance of approx. 6 liters per minute at 2 bar water pressure.

After its service life, the entire shower filter does not need to be replaced. Instead, the appropriate replacement filter cartridge from Carbonit can simply be exchanged.

What is being filtered?  

The hollow fiber membrane filter used reduces various microorganisms directly in the shower water, thus supporting a more hygienic water quality when showering.

Among others, the following germs and bacteria are reduced:

Legionella Pneumophila

Pseudomonas Aeruginosa

Gram-negative rod bacteria

Aspergillus Brasiliensis

Mold fungus

Brevundimonas Diminuta

Reference germ for membrane filters

The fine membrane filtration reliably reduces microbiological contamination in shower water – especially suitable for applications with high hygiene requirements.

Installation  

The Carbonit shower filter 245UF02 is mounted directly between the shower fitting and the shower hose.

Thanks to the standardized 1/2" internal and external threads, the filter fits many common shower fittings.

Installation is easy by screwing it on and is done in just a few minutes – no tools are usually required.

Important notes

  • The filter cartridge should be replaced after approx. 3 months or about 200 showers
