Why Pre-Filtration is Important

For UV-C light to be fully effective, the water should be as clear as possible. Turbid water can shield UV radiation, thereby reducing disinfection performance. Mechanical pre-filtration therefore significantly improves the effectiveness of UV-C disinfection.
