UrQuelle® Diamant in Review - Is the reverse osmosis system really that good?
In our water filter kitchen, we regularly test the best water treatment systems on the market. Today's focus: the UrQuelle Diamant – one of the most exquisite and technologically sophisticated water filter systems we have tested so far.
But how good is the German manufacturer's reverse osmosis system in practice?
The manufacturer's promise: The water filter combines precise filtration with elaborate remineralization and energization, thereby delivering not only pure but also vitalized drinking water of the highest quality - let's see!
Structure and Functionality
Opened - and immediately amazed. The filter design is clear and functional, yet very high-quality. The lid can be magnetically removed – tool-free, secure, and genuinely practical. Inside is a three-stage pre-filtration system that removes coarse particles like rust, sand, or lime sediments.
Subsequently, the water passes through a 600 GPD high-performance membrane with a filter fineness of 0.001 micrometers. This means: Only the water molecule itself can pass through – pollutants, heavy metals, microplastics, pesticides, and drug residues are reliably removed.
This system lays the foundation for absolutely pure water – the subsequent refinement makes all the difference.
Remineralization and Energization
After filtration, the water is remineralized and energized in several stages. This process uses Sango corals, Myfan stones, and rock crystals. These return valuable minerals and energetically restructure the water. The result is soft, harmonious, and biologically active drinking water.
A central element is the implosion vortex unit, where the water is swirled and simultaneously enriched with natural frequencies. This is followed by UMH swirling made of 24-carat gold-plated brass, whose surface has been specially designed for particularly pure vibration transmission. In some versions, a real rock crystal is additionally integrated into the faucet, completing the energization process.
This combination of physical structuring and natural mineral replenishment is unique and ensures vital, lively water with a hexagonal structure.
The Practical Test
Naturally, we wanted to know how the Diamanturquelle performs in practice. In our test, the system required 24 seconds for 0.5 liters, meaning a flow rate of approximately 48 seconds per liter of water. The noise level was 57 decibels – pleasantly quiet and barely noticeable during operation.
The water quality measurements speak for themselves:
-
Tap water: 325 ppm
-
Filtered, unmineralized water: 2 ppm
- After remineralization: approx. 15 ppm
The increase after energization shows that minerals are indeed being returned. This creates optimally balanced drinking water – cleanly filtered, lightly mineralized, and structured.
Operation and Maintenance
The Diamanturquelle is designed so that even less technically experienced users can operate it without problems. Filter changes are made without tools; the system is clearly structured and easily accessible. Thanks to high-quality materials and automatic flushing processes, the system remains hygienic and low-maintenance in the long term.
Conclusion of our Test
The Diamanturquelle is one of the most technically and energetically sophisticated systems on the market. It achieved the best value we have ever measured after filtration, at 2 ppm. It combines excellent filtration performance with one of the highest quality remineralization and energization units we have tested to date.
The water tastes exceptionally soft, fresh, and lively – and achieves an optimal mineralization level with a residual value of approximately 15 ppm. Particularly convincing is the combination of easy handling, quiet operation, and uncompromising material quality.
For anyone who values more than just clean water, the Diamanturquelle is a clear recommendation. It offers not only purity but also vitality – water that noticeably conveys energy and balance.
