UrQuelle® Diamant - Reverse Osmosis System

The UrQuelle® Diamant is an electrically operated water treatment system that purifies and post-treats tap water in a continuous flow. First, mechanical pre-filtration takes place, followed by powerful molecular filtration (800 GPD reverse osmosis), which removes unwanted substances from the water. The system operates without a storage tank and with a controlled wastewater ratio of 1:1.

Subsequently, the purified water is passed through several post-treatment stages. These include an activated carbon post-filter, a germ filter, as well as various mineral and structural modules, which serve for remineralization and post-treatment. A manual flush function supports the maintenance of the filter unit and contributes to permanently stable operation.

The UrQuelle® Diamant purifies tap water through a combination of high-precision pre-filtration, powerful molecular filtration (reverse osmosis, 800 GPD), as well as activated carbon and germ filtration. During the basic filtration, the following are, among others, reduced or removed:

• Sediments, sand & rust
• Chlorine & chlorine compounds
• Dissolved solids (TDS)
• Micro-contaminants & microplastics
• Germs & bacteria (via special germ filter stage)
• Heavy metals
• Drug residues
• Pesticides & chemical residues

Yes, partially. Membrane filtration reduces mineral components – with high water hardness, an optional limescale pre-filter can be installed upstream to protect membranes and increase their lifespan. For water hardnesses above 20 °dH, an additional limescale pre-filter is recommended.

The filtration performance in the classical sense in the Urquelle Diamant primarily takes place in stages 1-4. The further stages serve for remineralization, structuring, and post-treatment of the previously purified water.

The Urquelle Diamant filter system is installed at the water connection where you want to draw water – usually in the kitchen. For installation, you only need a cold water connection, an electrical outlet, sufficient space for the filter, and a wastewater siphon.

You can generally install your Urquelle Diamant yourself. However, we recommend professional installation by our assembly service. This ensures that everything is optimally connected – and you also receive a warranty on the installation.

To ensure consistently high water quality, the filter components should be changed at regular intervals. The system assists with this by displaying the filter status, making it easy to track the optimal replacement time.

Every 12 months (Filter Set 1)
An annual replacement is recommended for the following filters:

• Pre-filter (ECF)
• Post-filter (C2)

Every 24 months (Filter Set 2)
A complete replacement of all central filter and post-treatment components is recommended every two years:

• Pre-filter (ECF)
• Post-filter (C2)
• Molecular membrane (reverse osmosis in the filter tower)
• Germ barrier (in the energy module)
• EM, Maifan, and Sango modules
• Inline cartridge for the energy module

Thanks to the plug-and-play system, the filter cartridges can be replaced without special tools. The easily accessible design facilitates maintenance and ensures that filter replacement can be carried out quickly and easily.

Regular maintenance contributes not only to water quality but also to the longevity of the entire system.

Filter Set 1 (pre-filter and post-filter) is intended for annual replacement and costs €99.00.

Filter Set 2 includes a complete replacement filter set, costs €379.00, and is recommended every 2 years.
