Your benefits at a glance
The Arktisquelle water filter is a modern countertop reverse osmosis system that comprehensively filters tap water, sanitizes it, and improves its taste. With its 7-stage SEPTATECH® reverse osmosis, the system removes even microscopic impurities, providing pure drinking water directly from the device at all times. The integrated stainless steel water tank keeps the water hygienically clean, while sensory monitoring ensures consistently high water quality.
In addition, the Arktisquelle® offers a stepless hot water function, four customizable water modes, and an intuitive touch display. Thanks to DoubleUV-Protect® technology, the water in the tank is permanently protected from germs and viruses. The result is pure and delicious water, every day and at any time.
As a special extra, when you purchase an Arktisquelle water filter system, you receive the elegant 4-piece "Harmony" glass carafe set for free.
Important note regarding the UV lamp
The integrated UV lamp of the Arktisquelle water filter has a recommended lifespan of 2 years. After this period, the manufacturer recommends replacing the UV lamp as part of a maintenance service.

The Arktisquelle® combines several technologies in a closed system:

Yes. Limescale is reliably removed during reverse osmosis, which has a positive effect on taste, appliance hygiene and the preparation of tea, coffee and food.
For water hardnesses above 20 °dH, an additional pre-filter for limescale is recommended.
The 7-stage SEPTATECH® filtration of Arktisquelle®:
In the first stage, the water is roughly pre-cleaned. A finely wound polypropylene sediment filter removes larger particles such as suspended solids, deposits and coarse mineral components. This pre-filtration protects the subsequent filter stages and ensures stable system performance. In the first step, the Arktisquelle water filter achieves a filtration performance of up to approx. 5 µm.
The activated carbon block consists of highly porous activated carbon with an extremely large surface area. Chlorine, organic compounds and undesirable odours and flavours are bound using the adsorption process. In addition, mechanical and catalytic effects can neutralise certain chemical compounds – such as chlorine compounds. Here, a filtration performance of up to approx. 1 µm is achieved.
The heart of Arktisquelle® is the reverse osmosis molecular membrane. Under pressure, the water is forced through a semi-permeable membrane with extremely fine pores. Only water molecules pass through the membrane, while dissolved pollutants are reliably retained. Part of the water is used for the flushing and self-cleaning process of the membrane. Arktisquelle® is designed for a particularly efficient wastewater ratio of approx. 2:1, which protects the membrane and increases its service life. In the third step, the system filters down to approx. 0.0001 µm.
After intensive cleaning, the water receives its final refinement. A combination of activated carbon from coconut shells and basic ceramics ensures a rounded, pleasant taste and optimises the pH value within the limits of technical possibilities. This stage is solely for the sensory refinement of the water.
For additional hygienic protection, Arktisquelle® is equipped with a double UVC germ barrier. Two UVC units with a wavelength of approx. 280 nm act directly in the internal tank and deactivate germs, bacteria and microorganisms by altering their DNA structure. In this way, the stored water is permanently hygienically protected.
In this stage, the water is structured using the Original Water Refinement Microchip® process. A magnetic field rearranges the water molecule clusters and creates a hexagonal structure, as is often described in natural spring water. This structuring is often associated with a particularly soft and fresh taste. Note: The hexagonal water structuring and its effects are not confirmed by current mainstream scientific research and represent a complementary perspective on water quality.
Immediately before the water outlet, the water is physically swirled. The spiral movement is based on natural water movements, such as those found in rivers. The aim of this swirling is to support the natural dynamics of the water and to preserve the fresh taste right up to the outlet. Note: The teachings of Viktor Schauberger and their effects are not scientifically proven and serve to enhance the sensory experience of the water.
The Arktisquelle countertop unit is placed directly on the work surface without fixed installation. Water is supplied via the external fresh water tank; a direct connection to the water pipe is not required.
All that is needed is a power outlet and sufficient space on the work surface – no wastewater connection or interventions in the kitchen installation are necessary.
The Arktisquelle® is designed for low-maintenance operation. The filter cartridges should be changed every 3 to 14 months on average, depending on usage and water quality, to ensure optimal water quality permanently. The cost for a filter change is a maximum of €149.50 with our Arktisquelle Complete Set. The unit has a sensor-based filter change indicator on the display, which separately shows for each filter stage when a replacement is required.
Additionally, changes in the taste, odor, or flow rate of the water may indicate that a filter change is necessary. To ensure smooth operation, it is recommended to keep replacement filters in stock. Thanks to the well-thought-out, easily accessible design, filter changes can be carried out quickly, easily, and without special tools.
The Arktisquelle® also has an integrated UV lamp in the water tank, which continuously protects the stored water from germ contamination and contributes to microbiological safety. Since the performance of the UV lamp decreases over time, according to the manufacturer, it should be replaced approximately every two years for safety and hygiene reasons. For professional replacement, the unit is sent to Arktisquelle®, where the UV lamp is checked and replaced, ensuring that the full disinfection effect is maintained long-term.
Changing the filter is uncomplicated and takes only a few minutes. Thanks to the practical bayonet lock, you don't need any tools or special knowledge.
