The Puria has a regenerable pre-filter for limescale, which reduces water hardness and protects the entire system. This protects the membrane and subsequent filter stages and extends the life of the system.

The Puria countertop unit is placed directly on the work surface without a fixed installation. The water is supplied via the external fresh water tank; a direct connection to the water pipe is not required.

Only a power outlet and sufficient space on the work surface are needed – a wastewater connection or interventions in the kitchen installation are not necessary.

The Puria countertop unit is designed for low-maintenance operation. The relevant filter stages (stages 2, 3, and 4) should be changed once a year for hygienic reasons. The cost for this filter change is €157 and already includes the brine solution for the regeneration of the lime pre-filter.

Alternatively, the manufacturer recommends a complete filter change of all filter stages every 24 months. This costs €247, also including the brine solution. The stainless steel intake screen (stage 1) and the UVC-LED (stage 5) are maintenance-free and do not need to be replaced regularly.

The regenerable lime pre-filter further reduces ongoing follow-up costs and contributes to the long lifespan of the entire system. Thanks to the well-thought-out, easily accessible design, maintenance work can be carried out quickly and simply.
