The Futura Single uses multi-stage reverse osmosis filtration in combination with an additional germ barrier and vortexing. The water is cleaned step-by-step, temporarily stored, and then dispensed in a purified state.

Yes. Reverse osmosis largely removes scale-forming minerals.

The result is limescale-free water, which is particularly suitable for hot beverages and cooking.

Note: For very high conductivity values above 300 ppm, the manufacturer recommends using a direct flow system. For water hardnesses above 20 °dH, an additional pre-filter for limescale is also recommended.

The MisterWater Futura Single works with a multi-stage reverse osmosis filter system with a storage tank. The tap water is gradually purified, hygienically secured and finally sensorically treated.

1. Step 1: Sediment Filter
   In the first step, the sediment filter removes coarse particles such as sand, rust or suspended solids from the tap water. This protects the subsequent filter stages and increases the lifespan of the entire system.
2. Step 2: Activated Carbon Block Filter
   The activated carbon filter reduces chlorine, organic compounds, and undesirable odors and tastes. At the same time, chemical contamination is significantly reduced, which noticeably improves water quality.
3. Step 3: Reverse Osmosis Membrane
   In the membrane stage, fine filtration takes place at a molecular level. Dissolved substances such as heavy metals, drug residues, pesticides, micro-pollutants and scale-forming minerals are reliably retained. The water is almost completely freed from undesirable ingredients here.
4. Step 4: Post-filter
   The post-filter provides additional fine purification and stabilizes the water quality before storage. It contributes to a neutral, clear taste of the water.
5. Step 5: Germ Barrier (LOG-6 Standard)
   An integrated germ barrier increases the hygienic safety of the system. It prevents germs or bacteria from multiplying in the filter system or in the storage tank.
6. Step 6: Swirling
   In the last step, the filtered water is swirled. This swirling supports a uniform water structure and provides a particularly soft, pleasant drinking experience.

The treated water is then stored in the 3-liter storage tank and is available at any time – reliably, hygienically and without a power connection.

The Futura Single filter system is installed at the water connection where you want to draw water – usually in the kitchen.

For installation, you only need a cold water connection, a power outlet, sufficient space for the filter, and a wastewater siphon.

In principle, you can install your Futura Single yourself. However, we recommend professional installation by our assembly service. This ensures that everything is optimally connected – and you also receive a warranty on the installation.

We recommend changing the filter system of your Futura Single osmosis system after approximately 9,000 liters or every 12 months. You only need to change the membranes every 3 years. A modern LCD display conveniently shows you the filter change & membrane status.

You can purchase the replacement filter for your Futura Single for just €69. High-quality membranes with 150 GPD are available for €159.
