Carawater Filtradoc – Pre Speed Duo 10" Filling Filter

The FILTRADOC PRE Speed DUO operates with a two-stage filter system that combines mechanical pre-filtration and ultrafiltration.

First, the 10" sediment filter removes coarse particles such as sand, rust, or sludge from the water. Subsequently, the water is passed through an ultrafiltration membrane, whose pores are so fine that bacteria, germs, and other microorganisms are reliably retained.

This combination makes the system particularly suitable for tank filling, as the water is cleaned before entering the fresh water tank.

The combined filter removes coarse particles and microorganisms from the water. The ultrafiltration membrane can reduce up to 99.9999% of bacteria, germs, and viruses, while the sediment filter removes suspended solids from the water.

The FILTRADOC PRE Speed DUO is a pre-filter for particle and microorganism filtration. Targeted limescale reduction is not part of the filter system.

The FILTRADOC PRE Speed water filter is installed in the supply line to the fresh water tank, i.e. between the water source and the tank.

It serves as a filling filter, so the water is filtered before it enters the tank. Typically, it is:

• connected directly to the filling hose (e.g. via Gardena connections)
• placed between the tap / water source and the fresh water tank
• optionally permanently mounted to the tank filling line

This prevents sediments, suspended solids and microorganisms from entering the fresh water tank in the first place, which improves water quality throughout the system and keeps the tank clean.

The filter change for the FILTRADOC Pre Speed is scheduled after 12 months or after consuming the maximum capacity of 30,000 liters.

The sediment filter is relatively inexpensive and starts from €14.90.

The ultrafiltration membrane usually has a significantly longer lifespan (3–4 years) and usually only needs to be replaced after a significantly higher water throughput or when filter performance decreases.
