PI Power Compact 300 Review

23 Apr 2026

This time, in our water filter kitchen, we tested the Power Compact 300 from PI Technology – an under-sink reverse osmosis system with an integrated PI®-Cell Vitalizer, which not only filters the purified water but also structures and energizes it. We wanted to know: How well does the interaction of osmosis, remineralization, and cell vitalization work? And is the system really worth it in everyday life?

Scope of Delivery & First Impression of the PI Power Compact 300

Even at first glance, it's clear: the Power Compact 300 is a sophisticated piece of technology. The system comes ready for connection, including PI®-Cell Vitalizer, filters, hoses, and leak protection. Everything is solidly built – from the seals to the casing.

The post-osmosis setup is particularly exciting: first, the water is completely purified, then it flows through the Cell Vitalizer, where it is swirled in a spiral and enriched with cell-available calcium. It passes through Sango coral and special PI ceramics, which structure, energize, and harmonize the water.

The first impression: high-quality, clearly structured, hygienic, and aesthetically simple enough to fit under any sink.

PI Power Compact 300: Installation & Operation

Installation is straightforward. All connections are self-explanatory, and the sensors are simply plugged in – no technical expertise required. The Power Compact 300 features a multi-stage safety system: An external sensor immediately interrupts the water flow if moisture is detected. In addition, there are internal sensors that also stop the system if water leaks anywhere. This optimally protects the system against leaks.

In operation, everything runs automatically: switch on, draw water, done. The system produces 1.5 liters of pure water per minute using the direct-flow principle – perfect for daily needs.

Technical Evaluation & Functions of the PI Power Compact 300 Reverse Osmosis System

The Power Compact 300 combines classic reverse osmosis with modern water revitalization:

  1. Reverse osmosis filters remove up to 99% of all pollutants, heavy metals, and microplastics.
  2. The PI®-Cell Vitalizer additional module provides swirling, mineralization, and energetic treatment.
  3. Sango coral & PI ceramics release calcium, magnesium, and trace elements.

The leak protection system reliably protects the kitchen and furniture from water damage.

The ratio of pure water to wastewater is approximately 55 to 45 percent – a very good value that also supports the longevity of the membranes.

The PI Power Compact 300 in Practical Testing – Flow Rate, Noise Level & Water Quality

In the test lab, the Power Compact 300 showed its best side:

  • Flow rate: Half a liter in 23 seconds – which corresponds to approx. 1.3 liters per minute.
  • Noise level: Quiet 63 decibels, only slightly above room volume.
  • Water quality: Tap water 300 ppm → filtered water 15 ppm.

This achieves an impressive filtering result. The water tastes soft, fresh, and pleasantly neutral. Thanks to the swirling, it feels more vibrant and is significantly more pleasant to drink – ideal for tea, coffee, or simply pure drinking water.

Maintenance, Filter Change & Running Costs of the PI Power Compact 300

Maintenance is straightforward. Filter and membrane changes can be done without tools. The PI®-Cell Vitalizer is replaced every 8–10 years. If you add up all consumables, the annual material costs are around 168 Euros – a very fair price for this performance.

Here you can find all replacement filters and membranes for the PI Power Compact 300.

Conclusion: Is the PI Power Compact 300 Water Filter System Worth It?

The Power Compact 300 with Cell Vitalizer is a well-thought-out, technically mature reverse osmosis system that goes far beyond pure filtration. It delivers remineralized, structured, and energized drinking water of high quality – with low maintenance.

We were particularly impressed by:

  • Very good price-performance ratio
  • Leak protection and easy installation
  • 1.5 l/min flow rate at 63 dB noise level
  • Remineralization and water revitalization through Cell Vitalizer, Sango coral, and PI ceramic

Our conclusion: The Power Compact 300 is the ideal system for anyone who values the purest, energized water – made for well-being.
